On Thursday evening a Palestinian teenager was shot in the chest by the Israeli Occupying Force and remains in a hospital in Tubas in a critical condition.
Eighteen year old shepherd, Yasir Ahmadinejad was shot during a training exercise by the Israeli army in the north west bank.
According to Maan News Agency, this area is particularly dangerous for shepherds as they were not warned about the training, and this has caused several injuries in the past.
This is not an isolated incident, as in March 2012, two Palestinian children Hamza and Zaied Jaradat were killed and three more injured near an Israeli military training base by an exploding mortar left behind by the Israeli army in the town of Sair, in the East of Hebron.
Israel continues to conduct their military training exercises in this area, even though since 1967, 7 Palestinians have been killed by mortars during these exercises.
