Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Turkey wanted a Palestine which had its own territorial integrity with full sovereignty instead of a semi-autonomous one which was left to the mercy of Israel.
Speaking at a conference on Palestine issue on Thursday, Davutoglu said that none of the states, international organizations and lawyers considered Israeli occupation in Palestine as legitimate.
None of the countries has the right to be above the international laws, said Davutoglu, adding that this was UN's basic rule.
He noted that Palestinian people had the right to set their own destiny, adding that it would be difficult to settle a regional order in the Middle East until Palestinian people set their own destiny and had their own state.
A fully sovereign Palestinian state should be established to settle an order in the Middle East, said Davutoglu, adding that its capital city should be Eastern Jerusalem.
