A shocking video that was documented by an Israeli activist working for Human Rights group B'TSELEM, was released this week showing an old Shepherd in his 60's being attacked by members of the Israeli Occupying Force.
On 2nd April, Abu S was grazing his sheep in the land belonging to Om Al-Amd village, and was abruptly stopped Israeli Occupying Force when the abuse began.
The abuse included holding the man identified as Abu S, while a member of the IOF dragged a sheep by the leg away from the herd, while the sheep struggled, the shepherd begged for them to let go. The soldier continued to try to drag her by the leg to one of the vehicles. After around fifteen minutes of abuse, both the shepherd and his flock were eventually released.
The land is situated near the settlement Otniel, a Jewish Israeli settlement in the southern hills of Hebron, where 110 families have settled with further plans to expand the settlements in the area, a move deemed illegal under international law.
