The Price Of Kings: Film Touches On The Life Of Yasser Arafat

After showing the Price of Kings, film touches on the life of late President Yasser Arafat, at Dubai International Film Festival and Jerusalem Film Festival, The Spirit Level Film Company organizes other shows for this film.

The film will be shown at Al-Kasaba theater in Ramallah on Tuesday at 7 pm and then in Amman. The showing will include a discussion about the film with the audience and the media.

The film touches on the political life of the late president Yasser Arafat, from his life as a student in Cairo, the establishment of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the armed struggle until the stop of the peace process and the siege of Almoqataa.

Moreover, the film focuses on the human side of the life of the late leader under the most difficult political and living circumstances.

Speaking with the people who knew Arafat best, from his confidantes within the Palestinian Authority and his extended family, to his adversaries such as Israeli President, Shimon Peres, the film attempts to forge an account of Arafat's political life up until his mysterious death in 2004.

This groundbreaking documentary film also features an exclusive interview with Yasser Arafat's widow, Suha Arafat, who talks for the first time about what her life was like being married to a revolutionary, giving a particularly personal insight into the price that Yasser Arafat paid for the Palestinian cause.
