IOF halt construction of a power network south of Hebron

PNN/ Hebron/

Israeli occupation forces on Sunday handed out an order to halt the construction of a house and a power network in Masafer Yatta communities, south of Hebron.

Fouad Al-Emour, coordinator of the Protection and Resilience Committee in Masafer Yatta said that the Israeli occupation forces raided the “Gzeiwa” area, east of Yatta, and handed over the citizen Musa Abu Fanar, a notice to stop work and construction at his home, and also ordered the suspension of work on the electricity network which was supposed to feed electricity to the citizens in the area.

Earlier this month, the Israeli occupation forces destroyed the water supply networks for the communities along the area extending from Khallet al-Daba ‘to the al-Mufaqqaraarea in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Al-Emour explained that the occupation escalated attacks against the citizens of Masafer Yatta, by demolishing homes and facilities, preventing citizens from building, and depriving them of electricity and drinking water, in order to force them to migrate from their homes and leave their lands in favor of expanding the settlement outposts spread there.
