The Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) reported on Sunday, that the child and family of the detainee Maher Al-Akhras has finally met him at Kaplan Hospital, after Israeli attempts to prevent her from seeing her father.

Al-Akhras continues his hunger strike for the 91st day to protest his administrative detention and to demand his freedom.

On Sunday, the Supreme Court of the Occupation in Jerusalem rejected the request of his lawyer, Ahlam Haddad, of his immediate release despite the seriousness of his health condition, and returned its previous decision to freeze his administrative detention without releasing him and his stay in Kaplan Hospital inside, despite the serious deterioration in his health condition.
