Israeli bulldozers demolish Al-Araqib village for the 179th time

Israeli occupation forces’ bulldozers and vehicles today demolished the tents in Al-Araqib village, which is deprived of recognition and threatened with displacement, for the 179th time in a row, and the Israeli police arrested the youth, Saeed Al-Turi.

The last demolition was on September 17, 2020.

Resident of Al-Araqib, Aziz Al-Turi, said, “The police have arrested my son, Saeed, this morning, while the Israeli authorities continue to deepen our suffering and demolish the people’s tents, and this time, as in several previous times, I left my family in the open without shelter without being concerned about the hot and pandemic conditions. Corona ”.

According to the “Arab 48” website, this is the eighth time that the Israeli authorities have demolished the humble tents of Al-Araqib residents since the beginning of the year 2020, while the people re-erect them every time from wood and a nylon cover to protect them from the intense heat in light of the hot weather and despite the Corona pandemic.
