Palestinian youth shot and wounded during Israeli incursion into Jenin

A Palestinian youth was shot and wounded by Israeli live bullets, and three others were arrested, during the Israeli occupation forces’ incursion into Jenin city and the town of Jaba.

According to local sources and the Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) in Jenin, the young man, Raafat Aql Omar Akel (18 years), was shot in the lower abdomen, during the occupation forces’ storming of the Khallet Al-Souha neighborhood from Jenin, and was transferred to the Martyr Khalil Suleiman Governmental Hospital.

IOF also stormed the city, and arrested youths aftyer raiding a few homes and tampering with the contents.

Eyewitnesses said that clashes broke out between the youths and the occupation forces, who fired stun grenades and metal bullets at them, without causing any injuries.

In the Bethlehem governorate, the Israeli occupation forces arrested, at dawn today, Monday, citizens of the town of Beit Fajar, south of Bethlehem.

Palestinian security sources reported that the occupation forces arrested two Palestinians, including a 15 year old boy, after they raided the homes of their relatives and searched them.

The sources added that clashes broke out in the town of Doha, west of Bethlehem, during its storming by the occupation army, which fired tear gas and sound bombs at the citizens, and no injuries were reported.
