The 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York started on Tuesday with the participation of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
Abbas will deliver a speech to the United Nations General Assembly on Thursday, the 27th of this month. During his stay in New York, Abbas will also meet a number of world leaders and heads of delegations participating in the works of the General Assembly.
During the meeting, Abbas briefed a number of ministers and officials on the sidelines of the session on the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and the overall developments in light of the impasse in the political process due to the destructive American decisions of the peace process, the continuation of Israeli escalation, .
