Hundreds of Palestinians on Thursday have took part in the funeral of a pregnant woman and her 1.5 year old daughter, who were killed by an Israeli strike on Gaza last night.
The mourners chanted slogans calling on the world to put an end to Israeli crimes against children and women in the Gaza Strip.
On Thursday morning, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that three Palestinians were killed, and six others were wounded in Israeli attacks on the strip, as Israel targeted what it called Hamas sites.
The pregnant woman was identified as Inas Abu-Khammash, 23, and her daughter Bayan Abu-Khammash, aged one and a half. Inas’s husband, Mohammad Abu-Khammash sustained moderate to critical injuries in the attack.
The third martyr was announced as Ali al-Ghandour, 30. The ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra, said Ali was killed after IOF opened fire at a group of citizens in the Salatin area northwest of Beit Lahiya.
Israel fired intense attacks on Gaza last night, as it alleged that 200 Palestinian strikes were fired at the Gaza enclave settlements, injuring a number of Israelis, including a woman who was seriously wounded and about 10 others.
Israeli officials on Thursday continued to threaten the Gaza Strip, where a senior military official said the army was ready for a large-scale war, especially after Hamas broke the understandings reached when a ceasefire was reached in 2014.
