Khaled calls for bypassing US Veto & taking Israeli crimes to UNGA

Member of the Executive Committee of thePLO,  Tayseer Khaled called on taking the crimes committed by Israel at the borders of the Gaza Strip against the Palestinian citizens who exercise their right to peaceful demonstration on the 70th anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba to the general assembly of the United Nations under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations (United for Peace) to discuss the ways to deter the outbreak of the rulers in Tel Aviv and stop the crimes of the occupation army against defenseless citizens and bring those responsible to international justice, after the US administration aborted the presidential statement by the Security Council, which condemned the practices of the occupation army and called for an independent commission of inquiry to look into these crimes.

“We expected this position from the US administration and that it will certainly use the so-called “breaking the silence” to prevent the issuance of the presidential statement and called at the meeting of the so-called “Palestinian leadership” to transfer these crimes to the General Assembly of the United Nations under chapter 7 (United for peace) to condemn the Israeli violations in occupied Jerusalem and the rest of the Palestinian territories occupied in 1967 and the decision of the US administration to transfer its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and the crimes of the occupation at the borders of the Gaza Strip and underlines the determination of the international community to provide international protection for the Palestinian people and stop killings committed by the occupation forces against the Palestinian people under occupation.

At the same time , Khaled praised Turkey calling up ambassadors in Tel Aviv and Washington to consultation and calling up the South Africa ambassador in Tel Aviv in protest against the Israeli crimes and support of the US administration provided to these crimes and called on the Arab countries to withdraw their ambassadors from Aviv and stop normalization with Israel In view of the increasing number of martyrs and wounded on the borders of the Gaza Strip and stand by the Palestinian people against these crimes and against the American aggression on Jerusalem through the General Assembly of the United Nations to provide international protection for the Palestinian people under occupation.
