The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in a statement on Tuesday condemned the extreme right-wing Jewish organizations call for what they called “the celebration of Israel’s Independence Day” in the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. It also condemned the Israeli Magistrate’s Court decision to allow Israelis to chant “The Israeli nation is alive” in Al-haram Al-sharif.

“The Israeli invaders have launched provocative chants inside Al-Haram, and disturbed prayers of Muslim worshipers,” MOFA said. “This act comes within the framework of attempts to perpetrate the incursion itself as daily reality to deepen the temporal and spatial division Al-Aqsa Mosque.”

The Ministry warned of the repercussions of dealing with the escalating Jewish incursions into Al-Aqsa
Mosque as a customary routine. It said it considers the Israeli Magistrate’s Court decision to be a New  affirmation that the judiciary system in Israel is an integral part of the occupation system and its
violations and crimes.

“The American bias is encouraging the Israeli government and its various arms to expand and deepen the incursions, providing them with the cover to continue the division of the Holy Haram,” MOFA statement added.

It concluded by saying that the specialized international organizations are required to hold their responsibilities in implementing their relevant resolutions and to hold the occupation authorities accountable for their ongoing violations and measures aimed at changing the historical and legal reality in the Al-Aqsa Mosque by force of occupation.
