Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Tuesday demolished the family home of a Palestinian-prisoner, Ahmad al-Qumbaa, from Jenin.
IOF, accompanied by a bulldozers and experts, broke into the city of Jenin, then blew up the house with dynamite. When they failed the first time, they blew it up again until it exploded, causing damage to four neighboring houses.
Clashes also broke out between youths and Israeli forces during the raid and demolition. IOF fired rubber bullets and teargas grenades towards the protesters, causing several injuries.
According to WAFA, members of the Qumbaa’ family had left their house almost 10 days ago after the Israeli court issued a decision to be demolished. The family was handed the demolition notice three months ago and they tried to appeal three times and failed.
Qumbaa was charged with driving the car that was used by Ahmad Jarrar to carry the attack against a settler near Nablus in January.
