Malaysian police publish approximate photos of Al-Batsh assassins

Malaysian police on Monday morning published an approximate picture of those accused of assassinating the Palestinian scientist Fadi al-Batsh in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday morning.

Police Inspector General Sir Tan Mohammad Fawzi Harun in a press conference at the police training center (POLAPOL) this morning said that the police had collected the images on the basis of eyewitness descriptions.

According to Malaysian police chief, the suspects are of European or Middle Eastern appearance. “The drawings were made by our experts based on eyewitness statements,” he said.

Harun said investigators did not know whether the suspects were still in Malaysia.
“We need help from local and foreign authorities to find out,” he said.
On Saturday, Fadi al-Batash, 35, a Palestinian engineer from Gaza was killed while leaving the mosque after Fajr prayers in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur , where two motorcyclists committed the murder and shot the victim with more than 10 bullets.
