Israeli naval forces on Sunday morning fired an artillery shell at the Sudani shores northwest of Gaza City, without any reports of injuries to fishermen.
According to local sources in Gaza, Israeli naval boats fired shells and heavy machine-gun fire at fishermen’s boats off the Sudani beach area.
At least one fishing boat was damaged and no fishermen were injured. However, they were forced to flee the sea and return to their homes.
Israeli naval forces daily attack Gaza fishermen and prevents them from carrying out their work.
On the other hand, IOF on Sunday as well arrested a young man near the border fence in the north of Beit Lahia town in the northern Gaza Strip. IOF then took him to an unknown destination.
IOF also opened heavy machinegun fire towards farmers’ lands and residential homes in the area. No injuries were reported.
