President Abbas has arrived in Paris


President Mahmoud Abbas arrived late Tuesday in Paris for a three day official visit where he is expected to meet with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, Prime Minister Edouard Philippe and other French senior officials.

Abbas, who is accompanied by Foreign Minister Riyad Malki and other Palestinian senior officials, arrived in France from Addis Ababa, where he addressed the African Union Summit, WAFA news agency rapports.

He is scheduled to visit Tunisia after concluding his French visit and then travel on to Egypt for a meeting with President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi, according to Palestine’s ambassador in Cairo Jamal Shoubaki
