Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF), accompanied with the Israeli so-called Civil Administration  on Wednesday night and Thursday morning cut down dozens of olive trees on private Palestinian lands in the town of Hussan, West of Bethlehem.

IOF claimed that the move came as part of the campaign to “stop Palestinians from throwing stones and molotov cocktails at settler cars.”

It is noteworthy that the town of Hussan has been subjected to the recent campaigns of raids and searches and sabotage pf private lands under the allegations of Palestinians throwing stones and Molotov cocktails at settlers cars along the bypass road to the town.

The residents of the town said that this move constitutes an attack on the citizens, their properties and their source of livelihood, pointing out that they come within the framework of collective punishment and targeting of farmers and their land.
