Israeli authorities close Hakawati Theater in JERUSALEM

The Israeli authorities on Thursday temporarily closed the Palestinian National Theater, known as al-Hakawati Theater, in Occupied Jerusalem in order to prevent Palestinians from holding a concert.

Local sources reported that that the management of the theater was notified officially of an Israeli decision to close the place from six o’clock in the evening until midnight.

They added that the Israeli authorities claimed that the singing event was to be held by people affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
