Settlers torch Palestinian family home in Hebron

PNN/ Hebron/

A group of Israeli settlers on Tuesday torched a Palestinian family home near Yatta town, south of Hebron, southern West Bank.

According to PIC, a number of Israeli settlers from Beit Yatir illegal settlement set fire to his brother’s house.

“Fortunately, my brother’s family members were not at home when the arson attack took place. A group of settlers was seen fleeing the scene after setting fire to the house,” Othman Abu Qbeita said to PIC.

In late July 2015, a similar settler arson attack took place in Duma town, south of Nablus. The 18-month-old Ali Dawabsha and his parents were killed in the attack, while his 4-year-old brother survived the attack after suffering third-degree burns.
