IOF shoot Palestinian man on Qalandia checkpoint

PNN/ Jerusalem/

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Tuesday morning have shot dead a Palestinian man on Qalandia checkpoint north of Jerusalem, claiming that he “attempted” a stabbing attack.

The man, who was identified as 40-year-old Jihad Al-Qaddoumi from Nablus district, was shot and left bleeding on the ground.

Shortly after the shooting, the Palestinian ministry of health officially announced his death.

Israeli media claimed that the man had arrived in his vehicle at the checkpoint, got out of his car and approached soldiers with a knife. However, there is no proof of that, and no Israelis were injured.
