Israel refuses to release injured 14-year-old prisoner, Osama Zeidat

Israeli Occupation Authorities have continued to detain the child prisoner, Osama Zeidat (14) despite appeals from his lawyer to release him, and took him to court during his imprisonment.

According to lawyer of the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club, Akram Samara, the prison administration agreed to let a doctor see Osama in the clinic of Al-Ramla prison, but will not release him.

The child was brought to court on a hospital bed, since IOF hit him with two bullets, one in his back and another in his foot before detaining him on 23 Septemper 2016.

He was immediately taken to Sha’are Tsedek hospital in Jerusalem, where he had two surgeries and stayed for three weeks.

Since his detention, IOF refused to let his parents see him.
