Israel adopts new racist laws: Palestinians will go to the Security Council

The official spokesman for the Palestinian presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeina has warned of the dangers of the latest Israeli procedures of legislating outposts and preventing prayer calls through mosque loudspeakers: acts that could drag the region into a disaster.

On Sunday evening, Abu Rudeina said that these measures are completely unacceptable, adding that the Palestinian leadership will go to the UN Security Council and to all the international institutions, to stop escalating Israeli  measures.

Abu Rudeina’s words came after legislation commission in the Israeli governments adopts  Sunday evening a new racist laws against Palestinians the first law is settlements legislation and the second law is prevention prayer call over loudspeakers in the Islamic mosques in all the cities, especially in Jerusalem.

According to Israeli sources, the Ministerial Committee on Legislation approved tonight (Sunday) unanimously on a draft regulation bill that seeks to regularize the status of thousands of housing units in settlements built on private Palestinian land.

Seven ministers support the proposal any minister did not object to  or even abstain, despite the overwhelming opposition of the Attorney General Avi Chai Mendilbdi who participated in the meeting of the Committee.

Israeli Minister of Education and the far-right Jewish Home Party president, Naftali Bennett who introduced draft decisions for voting said  after the vote that “Israel today began a historical process to arrange a settlement in Judea and Samaria.

He added :”I congratulate the Prime Minister and Ministers who take required responsibility to lead the right-wing government and achieve national vision, stressing that the Israeli government will continue to achieve the objectives for which they were elected. “

On the other hand the ministerial committee also approved legislation on Prevention prayer  call over loudspeakers  for Muslims after it was put to a vote and the resolution was voted on unanimously.

Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs Yusuf Adeis, denounced on Sunday evening, the approval of the ministerial committee for legislation in the Israeli government, to prevent the call to prayer in Jerusalem and surrounding Arab neighborhoods.

Adeis said in a press release, that this Israeli law expresses racist exceeded the political dimensions and threatens the entire region with religious war, because it  violate freedom of beliefs and means of expression which guaranteed by heavenly laws and international laws.

He stressed that “this decision exudes extreme and racist toward the sons of the Islamic religion in Jerusalem, the city that racists trying to turn it into the city of exclusionary characteristics reflect the color of racist extremist Zionist.”

Palestinian Awqaf Minister called the international community and the Arab and Islamic worlds, and international institutions to protect the holy Islamic and Christian holy sites and places, calling for immediate action to push the Israeli government to retreat from these extremist and irresponsible decisions.
