Palestinian FM meets with British counterpart

The British Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson on Tuesday met with the Palestinian Foreign Minister, Dr Riyad al Malki.

Speaking after the meeting, Johnson said It was a pleasure to meet the Palestinian Foreign Minister Dr Riyad al Malki.”

“We discussed the persistent challenges of achieving lasting peace in the Middle East and I reiterated the UK’s firm commitment to a two state solution with a Palestinian state living in peace alongside Israel,” Johnson said in an official statement sent to PNN.

The statement said that both parties agreed that “the anniversaries of 2017 serve as a stark reminder that all parties must redouble efforts to reach a negotiated solution which delivers dignity and prosperity to all the people in the region.”
