Palestinian youth shot dead by IOF under car ramming pretext

A Palestinian youth on Sunday night was shot, killed by Israeli soldiers in Beit Ummar town north of Hebron, after allegedly carrying out a car-ramming attack.

The Palestinian ministry of health later said that the youth was Khaled Ikhlayel (23), and Israeli police claimed that he carried out a car-ramming attack near Gush Etzion illegal settlement.

The shooting took place amid intense clashes in Beit Ummar, between the Palestinian youths and Israeli soldiers.

Since October 2015, over 250 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces, over 30% of whom are children.
