IOF declare Sa’ir town closed military zone following shooting

PNN/ Hebron/

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Saturday night declared the town of Sa’ir a closed military zone, hours after a shooting on an Israeli settler car at route 60 near Gush Etzion settlement.

All entrances to the town, located northwest of Hebron, were closed and a checkpoint was set up to search vehicles and identify passengers.

During the past year, the town of Sa’ir was beseiged several times since dozens of its youths have been killed by IOF, under stabbing pretexts, as a measure of collective punishment.
