As part of its Lost Childhood campaign, Palestinian Medical Relief Society (PMRS) is hosting a Fun Run for kids!
The run will take place on Friday, September 23rd in Al-Tireh neighborhood.
Sign in on the day of the event will be from 7:30-8:30 a.m.. A parent/guardian will need to be present to sign in participants.
The run will begin at 9:00 a.m at Sariyyet Ramallah.
Th run will bee open to children ages 5-14 years old. We will have chaperones running with the kids and medical staff on site to assist in case of an emergency.
PMRS will also have fun activities for kids to do during and after the run.
Younger kids who are not participating in the run can participate in these activities too!
PMRS ِِsaid in statement that this campaign aimed to mobilize both national and international partners to take action to preserve the childhood of Palestinian children.
The Lost Childhood campaign aims to mobilize both national and international partners to take action to preserve the childhood of Palestinian children by at the national level, working with children, parents and local stakeholders on the meaning of childhood and how to protect it even in the difficult context of the occupation .
At the international level cam pine raising attention to the systematized nature of Israeli violations against children under the occupation and their impact not only on the psyche of an entire generation of Palestinian children but also on any chances of a lasting peace in the near future.
