Angry protesters break into Red Cross headquarters

Palestinian angry protesters stormed Saturday the headquarters of Red Cross in Bethlehem south of occupied West Bank.

According to Munther Ameira , the protesters stormed the headquarters in protest against the Red Cross’ passive attitude towards the Palestinian hunger strikers’ issue.

He added that the protesters decided to wage a sit-in inside the headquarters till solving the hunger strikers’ issue.

The sit-in is a warning to the Red Cross and international human rights groups to immediately intervene to save the lives of the hunger strikers in Israeli jails, a local activist said.
