Israel bans Sheikh Khatib from travel for 5 months


The Israeli Authorities banned Sheikh Kamal al-Khatib, deputy head of the Islamic Movement in 1948 Occupied Palestine, from travel for extra five months.

Khatib said in a statement on Wednesday that the Israeli authorities had issued travel ban order against him for the sixth time since last year.

The order is valid till January, 20, 2017, he said. Khatib pointed to a series of Israeli measures practiced against him in addition to the ban of travel including barring him from entering the Aqsa Mosque and Occupied Jerusalem, continuous investigations, and holding him under house arrest.
