IOF explode home of slain Palestinian teen

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Monday morning have exploded the home of Mohammed Tarayra (16) in Bani Naim village east of Hebron, as a collective punishment against his family.

Tarayra, who broke into a settler’s house and stabbed a 13-year-old Israeli girl on 30 June, causing her death, was shot dead on the sport.

On Monday morning, Israeli Military Forces and Civil Administration broke into the village and began the demolition of the home as ruled by the Israeli court.

According to Israeli media, following the demolition, however, the settler family said that the ruling was “a miserable decision” and added that “the legal system serves our enemies,” adding that  “the Israeli government shows weakness in its struggle against murderous terror.”

The Israeli rights group, B’Tselem, has recently said Israel this year set a record, since more Palestinian homes were demolished in the occupied territories in the first half of 2016 than in all of 2015, all as collective punishments and attempts to expell Palestinians from their homes and expand illegal settlements.
