Israeli police forces demolished Tuesday morning five Palestinian facilities in Silwan town east of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources told Quds Press that dozens of Israeli policemen stormed the town accompanied with a number of bulldozers and started the demolition process in total provocation to the residents. Three commercial stores, a room, and a garage owned by Arafat Abu Hamam were demolished during the raid.
Abu Hamam, a father of eight children, said that he became jobless along with two other workers. Israeli police demolished the facilities without prior notice or a demolition order under the pretext of being built without Israeli permit, Abu Hamam said.
Meanwhile, Israeli authorities forced a Jerusalemite citizen to demolish his house in Ein al-Louz neighbourhood.
