Dozens of Palestinians participated Thursday in a sit-in in solidarity with prisoner Bilal Kayed at his home in Asira al-Shamaliya town north of Nablus.
The activist Dalya Nassar said that the event is organized in solidarity with Kayed who has been on hunger strike for 23 consecutive days.
She underlined that there will be escalated coming events in coincidence with the hunger strike of detainee Kayed.
Kayed send a letter to his family and friends by his lawyer stating that he will continue his hunger strike in spite of his suffering from ceaseless fainting due to not taking any supplements and losing 25 kilograms since the beginning of his strike.
Kayed is one of nearly 750 Palestinians held without charge or trial by Israeli occupation.
Kayed’s administrative detention order was imposed upon the completion of his lengthy sentence of 14 and a half years.
