According to Israel Hayom newspaper, the budgets of 155 million shekels ($40.1 million) for religious institutions and NIS 70 million ($18 million) for West Bank settlements were outlined in coalition deals formed outside the government’s 2015 and 2016 appropriations plan.

Israel Hayom added that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu said multiple ministries would supply the funds, meant in part to meet the communities’ security needs.
