Injuries as IOF attacks peaceful marchers

Dozens of Palestinians sustained wounds on Friday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) aggressively attacked peaceful Palestinian marches protesting illegal settlement.

Eyewitnesses said the IOF targeted an anti-settlement demo in Kafr Kadoum, to the east of Qalqilya, with heavy spates of rubber bullets, teargas canisters, and waste water, wounding several marchers. A youngster sustained bullet injuries in his hand and feet while other demonstrators choked on teargas.

The IOF further attacked a similar march in Ni’lin town, resulting in several suffocation cases among women and children.

One of the casualties was identified as 10-year-old Muhammad Saleh Ameira. Meanwhile, the Palestinians of Bil’in village vowed during a peaceful march to keep anti-occupation activism until the land is liberated, prisoners are released, and Palestinians’ freedom is restored.

Anti-wall activist Abdullah Abu Rahma spoke out against Israeli attempts to suppress peaceful Palestinian marches over the past 11 years using armed force.
