Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Monday morning have demolished a residential building and the walls surrounding it, bulldozed a football playground and destryoed trees and networks of water an electricity at the northern entrance of Bethlehem city, central West Bank.
According to WAFA news agency, 50 military jeeps and four bulldozers have arrived in Bethlehem, and proceeded with the destruction and demolition of the house annexed the 300 military checkpoint next to the wall separating Bethlehem from Jerusalem.
Nader Al-Ali. local Bethlehem resident, added that IOF broke into the city in the early morning, evacuated the building and the guard’s room, then demolished it and began bulldozing the playground.
According to locals, the building is property of a Palestinian businessman, and IOF claimed it was demolished because it had no building permit.
