One Palestinian from Gaza sustained injuries as he was shot in his upper half by an Israeli sniper in a military watchtower east of Al-Bureij camp on the Gaza-Israeli borders.

The youngster who was shot sustained moderate to serious injuries, and was taken to the Shuhada Al-Aqsa hospital in Deir Al-Balah city in the center of the strip for treatment.

The shooting took place on Monday morning, one day after IOF opened fire at Palestinian homes southeast of the Gaza Strip, with no reported casualties.

On Sunday night, Israeli soldiers opened fire from watchtowers at homes in agricultural areas to the east of Khan Younis district, according to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter in Gaza.
