Real Madrid to receive Ahmad Dawabsheh on 17th of March

PNN/Jerusalem

It is confirmed: Football Federation President Gen. Jibril Rajoub said in a press release this Saturday morning that the Spanish club Real Madrid will receive the Palestinian child Ahmed Dawabsheh on March 17.

Rajoub said that the Spanish club, in coordination with the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Spain, will receive the child Dawabsheh and two of his family members, as well as a member of Real Madrid Association in Palestine on March 17.

He stressed that the club management has rapidly sympathized with Ahmad Dawabsheh situation/reality, following the spread of pictures of the child, dressed in the club’s shirt, while receiving treatment in the hospital.

Ahmad is the only member of the Dawabsheh family who survived the Israeli terrorist arson attack on his home in Duma near Nablus, northern West Bank, which killed his 11-month-old brother, Ali, and both his parents, July last year.

Ahmad is still recovering from third-level burns in the hospital.
