Two Palestinians killed in East Jerusalem, death toll rises to five

Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Sunday night  have shot dead two Palestinian youths who they claim “attempted to open fire using automatic weapons.”

The two youths are  Mansour Shawamra and Omar Amr, both originally from Al-Qbeibeh town in the Jerusalem district.

According to the Jpost, Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld that they were killed by the Israeli “border police” after suspected of attempting to open fire.

No Israeli injuries were reported.

Since morning hours on Sunday, the number of Palestinians killed hit five, all killed under the same pretext. Two 15-year-old children were killed in the morning near Jenin, and the third 17-year-old was  killed at a checkpoint east of Bethlehem.

In the afternoon, IOF shot a girl in Hebron, named Yasmin Al-Zaroo, causing her serious injuries while eyewitnesses confirmed that she did not attempt to harm any of the soldiers.

IOF prevented paramedics from approaching the scene, and violently assaulted anyone who tried to approach her, taking her to detention while still bleeding.
