The West Bank village of Nahhalin west of Bethlehem today entered its third day of blockade forces by Israeli Occupation.
Head of the village council, Ibrahim Shakarna told WAFA agency that the soldiers blocked the entrances and exits of the village with cement cubes and barricades, adding that the village is facing harsh circumstances as the movement is chilled all over it.
The seige comes after Israeli claims that a Palestinian who stabbed a settler in Neve Daniel settlement had fled to Nahalin.
Shakarna said that the military blockade includes home raids. In addition, about three homes have been turned into military points after taken over by IOF.
IOF also kidnapped a 22-year-old from the village after raiding his family home.
Military stormings have been intensified in West Bank villages and refugee camps, under claims of searching for suspects, which leads to violent clashes and injuries.
The Nahhalin blockade came one day after IOF lifted the blockade imposed on the town of Qabatiya, northern West Bank. The town was closed after three youths from it have been killed after an attack that killed a female Israeli soldier.
On that day, Netanyahu held a meeting with his cabinet, where they decided to blockade the town, tighten military restrictions in the West Bank.
Yesterday, 16-year-old Omar Madi Jawabreh was killed during clashes that broke out when the soldiers stormed Al-Arroub refugee camp.
Seven youths were injured by live ammunition the night before in Tukou’a village and dozens suffered teargas inhalation.
