Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) on Wednesday night broke into Qabatia town, northern West Bank, raided homes and opened fire, injuring four Palestinians with live ammunuition. Soldiers then ran over a 15-year-old boy causing him severe injuries.
The storming came on a decision by the Israeli Prime Minister, Benajmin Netanyahu during an urgent meeting with his cabinet, where he decided to tighten security, increase checkpoints on the entrances and exits of cities, sharpen military restrictions, and besiege Qabatia village.
When the soldiers arrived to the town, violent clashes broke out between the youths and soldiers, who opened live ammunition and injured four Palestinians, and then ran over a 15-year-old boy causing him fractures in the skull and serious injuries.
The cabinet meeting followed an operative that took place on Wednesday afternoon, in which IOF shot dead three Palestinians who stabbed, shot Israeli soldiers in Damascus gate, East Jerusalem, killing one female soldier and severely injuring another.
The three Palestinian youths, aged between 19-20, were killed on the spot. They turned out to be from Qabatia, near Jenin, northern West Bank.
The Israeli jpost claimed that the three Palestinians had a rifle, knife and an explosive device when Israeli police became “suspicious” of them.
