The Palestinian Prime Minister, Dr. Rami Hamdallah on Wednesday has deplored the illegal transfer of Palestinian Bedouin in the Jerusalem area, saying “Israel’s systematic violation of international laws is no longer acceptable by the international community.” Hamdallah expressed his thanks to Robert Piper, Coordinator for Humanitarian and UN Development Activities for the occupied Palestinian territory, and Felipe Sanchez,  Director of UNRWA Operations in the West Bank, for “their unwavering support to the Palestinian Bedouin community of Abu Nawar.”

On January 6, 2016, Israel has destroyed the homes and basic structures of twenty-six Palestinians, among them 18 children, in order to make room for the expansion of Ma’ale Adummim settlement.

Abu Nawar is located in the E1 area, where Israel continuously violates international laws by expanding illegal settlements on confiscated Palestinian land.
