Palestinian shot, seriously injured by the IOF in Jenin district


The Israeli occupation Forces shot a Palestinian youth, on Monday noon, claiming he attempted to stab an Israeli soldier near the illegal settlement of Hermesh, in Jenin district, north of the occupied West Bank.

Israeli media stated that the Israeli soldiers opened fired towards the Palestinian man, once they claimed he wanted to stab one of them.

No Israeli soldier was injured.

The IOF prevented the Palestinian Red Crescent crew from reaching the young man while he was left bleeding on the ground before they gave him first-aid help.

According to the Jerusalem Post, the Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan called on the Israeli government to take harsher measures against Palestinians

“If an attack happens on a road, that road should then be closed to Palestinians” , Dagan said.

He was identify as Zayed al-Ashqar from Saida town in Tulakrem.

Until now there are no news on his health condition.
