On Friday dawn, two Palestinian teenagers were shot dead by the IOF for allegedly carrying out an stabbing operation in Hebron.
Israeli occupation forces opened fire at the two young Palestinians after they allegedly stabbed an Israeli soldier in Tel al-Remida neighborhood in Hebron.
As stated by the Palestinian Information Center (PIC), the two boys were left bleeding for long hours before they were proclaimed dead, while the Israeli soldier was slightly injured.
Eyewitnesses said the Israeli soldiers fired a large number of live fire on the two Palestinian.
They were identified as Taher Fanoun, 22, and his cousin Mustafa Fanoun, 18, both from Hebron.
Issa Amro, coordinator of the Youth Coalition against Settlements in Hebron, said the Israeli version of events seems to be contradictory – pointing out that the military says the two teens were searched and had nothing on them, but then claims that the two teens somehow obtained knives – even though they never left the sight of the soldiers after being searched, as reported by IMEMC.
The new victims brought the number of slain Palestinians, who were shot and killed by Israeli gun fire since October 1, to 112 martyrs including 24 children and five women.
