Young Palestinian man shot dead by the IOF, Sunday night

A Palestinian teenager was shot dead by the IOF on Sunday night during clashes in the neighborhood of Ras Al-Amoud in Silwan.

According to the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, the young Palestinian was identified as 17-years-old Ayman Sameeh Hasan Abbasi.

Abbasi was a freed prisoner and had previously spent a year and a half in the occupation’s prisons and 10 months of house-arrest before that. He was accused of monitoring the stabbing of an Israeli settler in Ras Al-Amoud on 2/11/2012; he was released in February 2015, as reporter by Wadi Center.

The Israeli soldiers also invaded Ein al-Louza Specialized Medical Center, and detained the medical staff in addition to inspecting the ID cards of many residents in the center, as stated by IMEMC.

According to IMEMC, despite Israeli military restrictions, the funeral of al-‘Abbassi was held at midnight, with the participation of hundreds of Palestinians. The residents marched from his home towards the graveyard in Sweih neighborhood, while carrying Palestinian flags and chanting for the liberation of Palestine, and the release of all detainees.
