Palestinian man shot dead in Jerusalem


This Sunday morning a Palestinian man was shot dead at Damascus Gate in occupied East Jerusalem after he stabbed and moderately wounded an Israeli police personal.

According to Jerusalem Post, the Israeli police stated that the Palestinian man was identified as Baseem Abdul-Rahman Mustafa Salah, 38-year-old, resident of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank 12321285_1246984942010590_8474549008003572401_n who approached Haguy Street from the Damascus Gate in the direction of two Israeli border police officers who were in the area.

The Israeli spokesperson stated that “just as the man passed the police officers, he pulled out his knife, screamed “Allahu Akbar” [God is great] and stabbed one of them in the neck.”
