This Thursday morning the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of a young Palestinian man, after he was shot by the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Qatanna, northwest of Jerusalem.
He was identified as Yahya Yusri Taha, 21.
According to the Misnitry, the IOF invaded the town at dawn, ransacking homes and detaining several residents. Clashes broke out throughout the streets of the city between young Palestinians and Israeli soldiers.
During the clashes, Yahya was shot in the head and left on the ground bleeding for more than an hour-and-a-half while Israeli soldiers denied Palestinian ambulances access to Taha to administer medical treatment, according to Maan News.
After the ambulance finally manage to access him, he was taken to the Taha Palestinian Medical Complex in an extremely critical situation but died shortly after, the ministry said.
During this morning press release, the ministry stated that with the martyrdom of the young Taha, the total number of martyrs since the beginning of last month stood at 100.
