Yesterday the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that a 16-year-old boy who was injured two weeks ago during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Ramallah has succumbed to serious wounds.
In a press statement, the ministry said that teen Ibrahim Abdul-Halim Dawood, from Deir Ghassana north of Ramallah, died of serious wounds sustained when an Israeli soldier’s bullet penetrated his heart.
Daoud underwent several operations at the Palestine Medical Center in Ramallah to save his life since his was shot two weeks ago, but succumbed to wounds on Wednesday.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of Palestinians killed since October 1, has arrived to 99.
The fatalities include four women and 22 minors. Over 788 Palestinians have also been shot with live bullets in the occupied West Bank.
The Ministry also said that more than 12.000 Palestinians have been injured since October 1, 1578 of them with live Israeli rounds, 1085 with rubber-coated steel bullets, and were all moved to hospitals, in addition to 1528 who were shot with rubber-coated steel bullets and received treatment by Palestinian medics.
7670 Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation in the occupied West Bank and Gaza, 300 suffered fractures and bruises after being assaulted by Israeli soldiers and colonialist settlers, and 30 suffered burns due to Israeli gas bombs and concussion grenades, according to the International Middle East Media Center (IMEMC).
