Israel to ban boycotters

As the European Union approved a guidelines to mark Israeli settlement goods,  the Knesset rushed to approve a preliminary reading of a bill to ban individuals who call for a boycott of Israel.

Israeli Occupation Authorities following move to label settlement goods, called the EU as antisemitic and racist who “should be ashamed.

The Israeli prime minister, Netanyahu also said that  Israel is “unwilling to accept the fact that the EU labels the side being attacked by terror.”

The move was also condemned by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to +972 magazine, on Wednesday the Knesset approved the first reading of a bill that would forbid entry into Israel of anyone who calls for BDS. 

As the entry to Palestine is also controlled by the Israeli occupation authorities, boycotters, if banned, will not be able to enter the occupied Palestinian territory.

Although the it has only passed the first of several legislative steps, the government has thrown its support behind the bill.
