A Palestinian youth on Tuesday afternoon was shot dead at the Container checkpoint East of Bethlehem.
Our reporter said that the youth was defined as Ziad Sadeq (16) from Jenin city, northern West Bank.
It was said previously that he was a student at Al-Quds University, but it was later reported to be wrong.
IOF said that he tried to stab a soldier after he was out of a cab.
The cab driver said that the boy get off the car to pick up his phone which he dropped from the window. When he was out of the cab, they gunned him down.
A photo showed him after he was shot, with a knife in between his middle and forefingers. Analysts says that the clean knife was planted in his hand after he was shot, because it could never be held between these two fingers.
IOF closed down the checkpoint in addition to Jaba’ checkpoint south of Ramallah after the shooting, causing a huge traffic.
This morning, a Palestinian 12-year-old child was shot, seriously injured, and then tortured by policemen at the scene.
Minutes later, a 37-year-old man was executed at Damascus Gate in East Jerusalem.
