Palestinian woman shot, died at the hospital


A Palestinian woman was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces this Friday afternoon after allegedly attempting to run over IOF soldiers while driving her vehicle in Halhul, north of Hebron area.

Local sources and eyewitnesses reported that the Israeli soldiers fired heavy 12112067_1230016143707470_7329959619719577058_nlead towards the Palestinian vehicle, seriously injuring the woman. According to them, gas and sound bombs were fired by the israeli troops fired towards the citizens and journalists who had gathered at the scene.

As stated by the Israeli media, the woman was taken for medical treatment at Shaare Zedek Medical Center near Jerusalem, but unfortunately died in the hospital due to injuries.

She was identified as Sarwa al-Sharawi, reportedly aged 73. Her husband, Fouad, was killed by the IOF during the 1st Intifada.

No injuries were reported among the Israeli soldiers.
