Settlers offer $10,000 award to anyone who turns in alleged car assailant

Settlers from the Kiryat Arba settlement near Hebron are offering 40,000 NIS (approx $10,000) to anyone who turns in the alleged car-ramming assailant who ran-over an Israeli settler near Al-Fawwar refugee camp two weeks ago.

Walla Israeli website said that the money was donated by a wealthy settler from Kiryat Arba.

The alleged attacker, following the incident, immediately turned himself in to the Palestinian Security Forces and said that it was a car accident not a deliberate attack.

He is currently detained by the Palestinian authority.

The settler who died in the incident is named Fraham Hisnu, and was reportedly harassing and attacking Palestinian vehicles and drivers with verbally and physically on the road near Al-Fawwar refugee camp north of Hebron.
